There’s no such thing as bad publicity. In today’s society, the A-list celebrities of our day are becoming famous for their more infamous actions than honorable actions. Our society only wants to do something about it when it hits a little to close to home. We can’t always blame the media or the government for not “doing their part” in averting the promotion of reckless behavior as “fun or cool” or from affecting our own city, town street, and family.

As the saying goes, when you point the finger at someone else, there are always three more fingers pointing back at you! It’s time to look at ourselves and say, “Am I a part of the problem or am I part of the solution?” It’s never to late to become part of the solution, and now, you and I have an opportunity to take part in a launch pad project: Ironmen, the summer of Holy Hip Hop Kickoff.

Proverbs 27:17: “As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.”

It’s no secret that peer pressure is the #1 influence on the lifestyles of any generation, whether or not if it’s positive or negative peer pressure. What IRONMEN purposes to do, is put the pressure on the positive influence to encourage male and female youth to stay the course, finish the race, and not drop out early, from school or life. The guest list of ministers for the event has been specially selected; they are men and women who have experienced it all: the good, the bad and the ugly. They are people who can say “I have been where you are, and you can do and go further than all that I have achieved or will”. One of the ministers for the evening is Holy Hip Hop artist Gabe Manjarezz aka The Reborn Disciple (RBD), from Phoenix, Az.  RBD will be the special guest for the evening sharing several songs and testimonies about how God saved him from a life of gangs, drugs, and alcohol, and the everlasting comfort he relies on the Lord for in overcoming the hurt and pain by the death of his infant daughter from S.I.D.S.

The excitement doesn’t stop there, this event will also feature a live freestyle holy hip hop competition uplifting the name of Jesus. The winner of the competition will receive 2 free studio recording sessions from Janaai Studios, in Bridgeport Ct. Admission and Food are free.

Here are several ways by which you can help with this event, and take part in the fruit of seeing lives transformed and turned on for Jesus Christ.

1.    Pray, lift up our guest speakers and those being ministered to at the event, and those ministering at the event
2.    Word of Mouth, tell somebody about the event, tell them to invite a friend who wouldn't normally walk into a church service (you get the idea)
3.    Add the flyer to your website or social networking profile site
4.    Add the flyer to your church bulletin board / calendar
5.    Contact me if you would like to be a minister at the event (Minister means servant, we can still use people to lend a helping hand with food / child care / ushers / prayer counselors, etc. )
6.    Radio / Media Promotions (We have an awesome commercial, introduced by
“Brotha Percy (formally of Sirius Satellite PRAISE, KISS FM, Power 105.1) but is
of no use if nobody hears it or help us get in onto the airwaves (click here to listen)
7.    Donations – Donations for the event will go towards blessing the ministers with a
monetary gift, providing food for the event (for all attendees) etc…. Remaining
funds will go into the Calvary Fellowship of Greenwich account for further ministry
